Watermelon, Watermelon
Baby's now the size of a watermelon!
Your full-term (yay!) baby is gaining about 1/2 ounce a day and getting his first sticky poop (called meconium) ready. He's also brushing up on skills for the outside world: blinking, sucking, inhaling, exhaling, and gripping (it's getting strong!).
WOW! I ca't believe that Baby Grey could be born any day now! I am so anxious to see him- though not anxious for the birthing part. Michael and I finished Lamaz classes last week, so I feel like I am ready- but I'm sure everything I learned will go straight out the window as soon as I start feeling the pain.
My mom and Michael's mom are coming when I go into labor and then staying with us for a while after the birth. I am so excited to get to have them here- I think that's one reason I'm so anxious for Grey to be here!! For the most part we have everything ready- though I still haven't packed my hospital bags- that's one thing I tell myself every weekend that I am going to do- yet, it still hasn't happened.
As for Baby Grey- he is moving like a monster... killing my ribs! Michael and I feel little body parts bulging out of my side all the time (though I can't really tell what anything is!) I think he is ready to be out too! So my next update will probably be Greyson's arrival- can't wait to share it!!
